Ronco Margherita is present at the Simply Italian Great Wines 2019 world tour created by I.E.M. – International Exhibition Management: first stop America!
The eighth edition of Simply Italian Great Wines Americas Tour involves two markets of strong interest for Italian wine: a giant of consumption like the United States, where the boot aims to recover the primacy of imports, and Mexico, an emerging market still to conquer by focusing on millennials. The leading companies of the IEM – International Exhibition Management tour will make a stop in Fort Lauderdale (Greater Miami) on February 4th (a market constantly monitored thanks to the direct presence of the IEEM local office since 2007) and in Mexico City on February 6th, meeting directly the trade. Over 500 selected visitors are expected.
Florida is the nerve center for import / export in the south east of the United States and the Miami area is its mainstay, thanks to the extraordinary concentration of international companies and the geographical position that offers a direct gateway to the South America and the Caribbean.
In Mexico the wine market is in full growth, although it still represents a smaller share in the overall consumption of alcohol. Wine is considered a status symbol and a trendy product among young people and the upper-middle class. With 36.17 million euros (131.68 thousand hectoliters) of the total wine import of 219.59 million in 2017, the Boot is in the top 5 of Mexico’s main trading partners.
