From the unique territory of Pinzano al Tagliamento, which lies between the high Friuli plain and the first pedemontane reliefs in the splendid Val d’Arzino and still preserves the uniqueness of the original native vines, the Pastelli Collection was born.

A white and a sparkling red: fresh, lively and direct as two children growing up in the hills. This is the image we have of our two new wines and for this reason we ask children to draw the labels.

On the occasion of the harvest festival, every year we organize a drawing contest open only to children. Every year the most beautiful design becomes the label of the new Pastello.

 

Vinification: The whole grape must be pressed to obtain the must that will make the first alcohol fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Obtained the base wine proceed with the foaming through the Charmat-Martinotti method. The wine is left to mature in autoclave for about 2 months. When this period is completed, the bottling is carried out, followed by refining in the bottle before it begins to be marketed.

Wine: From 100% Forgiarin grapes, the wine has a brilliant ruby ​​red color. Its characteristic is a bouquet of fresh red fruits such as cherry, strawberry and raspberry, elegant and balanced. In the mouth it maintains its elegance and has a marked acidity. It combines perfectly with pork dishes, but also with lamb and goose, as well as fat cheese. Recommended with traditional Venetian and Friulian “Musetto”.

The alcohol content is 12% vol.
It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 8-10 ° C.
