The Cornino lake is a small alpine lake in the municipality of Forgaria in Friuli (province of Udine), within the Nature Reserve of Lake Cornino.
The natural reserve, which stretches for about 500 hectares, is reachable through enchanting paths offering uncontaminated and wild scenery. Organized visits to the reserve are planned to protect various species of birds, including birds of prey such as the griffon. www.riservacornino.it
The lake does not have emissaries on the surface, but through underground waterfalls it receives a continuous water supply that allows it to maintain a constant temperature of 8-9 ° C throughout the year, in addition to a clear water feature.
